TIG Welder

Senior Salmon are looking for a TIG Welder to join their client based in NG17 (Sutton in Ashfield) on a temp to perm basis.

These positions would suit candidates that have left college after completion of a welding course and who are looking for their first step into an engineering career.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
• Weld small and large components
• Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors.
• Follow and enforce strict safety regulations s
• Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.

Requirements:

• A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
