Tool Maker (CNC Machinist)

Senior Salmon are working with our Leicester based client and we are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist / Toolmaker to join their expanding team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in precision machining or toolmaking,

Ideally we are looking for candidates with experience programming with Visi (or a similar CAD/CAM package) and who have working with both aluminium and steel tooling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming and setting CNC machines
• Operating CNC machining centres
• Manufacturing and modifying tools and components in aluminium and steel.
• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

Experience required
• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist and/or Toolmaker.
• Experience working with aluminium and steel.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

These positions are offered as permanent contracts and the salary will depend on experience.

Rate of Pay

£36,000.00 – £55,000.00 per year
